This Ministry intends to partner with industries to train Grand Bahamians to meet industry requirements for not only entry level jobs, but also mid-management jobs.  The programmes/courses listed below need to be offered locally and must be easily accessible to Grand Bahamians.  Research and corroboration with Industry has confirm that these programmes/courses must meet industry standards and hence, we are partnering with local institutions to assist in creating and developing practical programmes/courses leading to industry certifications in the following subject areas:

• Underwater Welding
• Electrical Instrumentation
• Safety Inspection
• Environmental Inspectors
• Oil Inspectorate
• Scaffolding Training and Safety
• Industrial Painters
