The hospital was dealt with as a separate issue but in the charter of governance a mandate was given for the development of two schools.

One in East Grand Bahama and the other in West.

This is a big task and discussion are already on the way with the Minister of Education for the establish and possible location of the first school more than likely site for the junior high school in the Heritage subdivision.

It is my understanding that some money may be present at the Port Authority for the financing of that school and investigations are currently on the way to determine that fact for laying the foundation for that project.

In short order we will be investigating possible sites for the school in the West and east Grand Bahama in an attempt to locating and securing the land in order to do so.

The department of land and surveying must be contacted for a few things

1. The location and the amount of Farm Land in East Grand Bahama
2. Potential site for a school in East and West Grand Bahama

Contact the land department at the port about two things

1. Land for the Hospital
2. Land for the Junior school

Necessary research to determine the number of classrooms needed and the infrastructure required.

Get the plans and drawing for the proposed school in Heritage.
