The General Delivery service caters to persons who do not have a Post Office Box. There is a General Delivery Section at all sub-Post Offices in New Providence and the Family Islands.

There are no eligibility requirements for this service.

1. Individuals ( including short and long term visitors) who need to forward or receive mail can use the service of the "General Delivery" section by having their correspondence addressed to:    
   "First and Last Name"
   General Delivery Section
   “Post Office Address”
2. To collect mail, individuals should go to the General Mail Delivery Section of the relevant post office location and present their supporting documents

There is no application form for this service.

• Valid Passport or Valid Driver’s Licence or Valid Voter’s Card or any Valid Government Identification.
• If you are collecting mail on behalf of someone else, you must walk with a letter of consent in addition to the Valid Identification.

Same day once Valid ID and any other required documents are presented. After one month, if the mail is not collected by the addressee, the mail is returned to the sender at no cost. The mail will be stamped with “Unclaimed” before return.

There are no fees associated with this service.
