NASSAU, The Bahamas -- A British Business Mission Delegation paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation the Hon. Chester Cooper, October 3, 2023 at the Office of the Prime Minister.  The business delegation was accompanied by British High Commissioner HE Thomas Hartley.  

 

Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Ginger Moxey attended the courtesy call.  Also in attendance: Senator the Hon. Randy Rolle, Global relations consultant MOTIA; Senator Hon. Barry Griffin; and Mr. Reginald Saunders, Permanent Secretary, MOTIA.

 

The  British delegation will hold a week of high-level business and government meetings in Nassau and Grand Bahama.

 

A Caribbean Council press release stated, the visit comes in the wake of a series of Caribbean Council investment events in London at which Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis was a keynote speaker.  "The mission is the first of its kind in over 20 years and is an important marker of the growing interest in both the Bahamas and the UK in reconnecting after the pandemic and exploring new business ventures to benefit both sides," the release said.   (BIS Photos/Kemuel Stubbs)
