The Ministry is assisted in its crime fighting efforts through initiatives carried out by the Corporate Sector and other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and community minded individuals. These groups include:
- Teen Challenge.
- Prison Fellowship.
- LEAD Institute (Leadership, Esteem, Ability and Discipline).
These entities volunteer their services to assist with increasing public safety and security through intervention activities such as: educational programmes, programmes for pre and post released inmates at Her Majesty’s Prison, after school programmes and assisting with securing employment for at-risk-youth.
The services are provided for:
- At-risk youth.
- Pre and post released Inmate at Her Majesty’s Prisons.
- The family of former inmates
