Young people showcase their talents at the Division of Cultural Affairs Summer and Apprentice Camps Showcase

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Roselyn Horton and Head of the Division of Youth Sandena Neely recently joined Director of Culture Dereka Deleveaux-Grant, Assistant Director of Culture Portia Sands, and scores of parents and well wishers, in cheering on participants at the Division of Cultural Affairs Summer and Apprentice Camps Showcase.  This event, held at the Church of God Auditorium on July 26, 2024, allowed the campers to share what they learned in various areas of cultural expression and life skills, such as animation, dance, visual arts, film-making, writing for the stage and print, auto mechanics, singing, music, fashion, culinary arts, acting, set production, limbo, drumming, modeling, Junkanoo arts, and liturgical dance.
