Postmaster General's Message

Welcome to The Bahamas Postal Service – the country’s premier mail distribution organization.
Similar to other Postal Administration members in the Universal Postal Union The Bahamas Postal Service is responsible for providing and maintaining a "quality of service" policy, that focuses on meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.

As far back as 1761, mail delivery has played a vital role in the everyday lives of people world-wide. This has been reflected in the continuous improvements and transformation of the postal services globally.

In our efforts to strategically combat the challenges of a changing global environment, we have made initiatives in the diversification of The Bahamas Postal Service. This effort aims to transform the organization into an even more profitable, customer driven one. By doing this we are able to realize and sustain the aims of our mission – “to be respected and recognized for our timely collection and transmittal of all postal products.”

Therefore, we at the Bahamas Postal Service make it our number one priority, to exceed the expectations of our customers by going "above and beyond" to meet the everyday demands of connecting people - to - people.
