Under Customs Regulations, cargo arriving into the country on board a vessel or airline, to be stored in Bonded Warehouses must be processed.


Eligibility 

All businesses with cargo in Bonded Warehouses.

Process 
  1. Collect documents from Shipping/Airline agent.
  2. Complete relevant form.
  3. Present form and supporting documents to the Customs Aided Industries Section of the Customs Department.
  4. Pay Import duties.
  5. Collect goods.

Note: This service is provided at New Providence and Grand Bahama only.

Warehousing Entry Form  - C16 Form 

Supporting Documents 
  • Completed C16 Form.
  • Invoices (where applicable).
  • Shipping documents (bill of lading / airway bill, any other documents provided by Supplier).
  • For individuals - passport or driver’s licence.
  • For businesses - valid business licence.
Turn-around time 
This service can be completed within 2 to 24 hours after submission of documents.

There are no deadline dates for this service.
Related Fee(s) 

There is a processing fee of $25.00 associated with this service. The Customs Broker will also charge fees for the preparation of your supporting documents.
