A Trapping Permit enables businesses or citizens who wish to use crawfish traps (lobster traps) to harvest spiny lobster or crawfish.


Eligibility 
  • For Bahamian business, all shareholders must be Bahamian citizens and resident within the country.

 

Process 
  1. Complete the relevant application form.
  2. Submit the completed form and the required supporting documents to the Department of Marine Resources.
  3. Pay required licence fee.
