As the residents of Abaco and Grand Bahama gradually and resiliently rebuild,the public is asked that due care be given to all lifeless bodies discovered on these islands.

The Ministry of Health would like to advise that it is the responsibility of Bahamian law enforcement officials and the Coroner to secure the bodies of all the deceased.If a lifeless body is discovered, please do not remove without the presence of a law enforcement officer.

The Ministry of Health extends condolences to all who have lost loved ones as a result of Hurricane Dorian.May God continue to bring comfort and strength to those during their time of sorrow.
