A Domestic Money Order allows the applicant to send money to various parts of the Family Islands. Persons who would be interested in this type of service include:
- Businesses, Citizens and Residents who wish to make bill payments.
- Parents of school children.
- Government Agencies who wish to make payments in Nassau and the Family Islands.
- The minimum for each Money Order is BS$0.05
- The maximum for each Order is BS$1000.00
- Visit the Savings Bank at the Post Office.
- Complete the relevant application form.
- Submit the form to The Clerk at the Savings Bank.
- Pay a three per cent commission fee.
- Customer will be issued with the Domestic Money Order.
- The customer is responsible for forwarding the money order to the relevant person.

If the Domestic Money Order is to be paid to the Immigration Department, the application should also be submitted.

Domestic money orders can only be purchased at the Money Order section during the hours 9:00am to 5:00pm. Monday to Friday.
Commission Fee: Three per cent of amount of money order purchased.
- The minimum for each Order is BS$0.05
- The maximum for each Order is BS$1000.00
- 10% VAT on commission.
