Cemetery Plots are provided for members of the public who do not have a family plot to bury their relatives.  


Eligibility 

Any member of the public can apply for a Cemetery Plot.

Process 
  1. Fill out the Cemetery Plot form and submit it to Central Services Section of the Ministry of Works & Urban Development.
  2. The fee is paid when the form is submitted at the Central Services Section of the Ministry of Works & Urban Development.
  3. An officer will allocate a plot in a public graveyard.

Supporting Documents 
  • A valid I.D. card, driver’s licence, passport.
  • A Death Certificate of the deceased.

 

Turn-around time 

A plot is allotted within a day or two of the request once there is space in the burial ground.

There are no deadlines for this service.
Related Fee(s) 

Plots cost BS$62.00 each.
