Permits are issued to businesses, citizens and non-citizens to facilitate the duty free importation of equipment and breeding/seed stock to be used within the fish farming sector.
Applicant must have a permit to engage in aquaculture.
- Complete the relevant application form.
- Submit completed application form along with the required supporting documents to the Department of Marine Resources.
- The applicant will then be issued with the Certificate of Registration Card or 10% Duty Waiver Form, which should be presented to The Bahamas Customs at the time of clearance of the goods
